How to Use Your Pendulum

Prepare Your Space:

• Light a white candle to create a calm and sacred atmosphere.
• Smudge the space and yourself using sage or your preferred smudging herb to clear any negative energy.

Choose Your Crystal:

• Select a crystal that aligns with your intention or question. Amethyst for clarity, rose quartz for love, or clear quartz for general purposes are good options.

Set Your Intention:

• Hold your pendulum and take a few deep breaths. Focus on your question or intention.

Ask your question:

• Hold the pendulum chain between your thumb and forefinger, allowing it to swing freely.
• Ask your pendulum to show you "yes" and "no" by posing simple questions you know the answers to. Observe the direction of the swings. This helps you to 'test the waters' and prepare to ask your true question/intention.
• Pose your question and observe the pendulum’s movement to receive your answer.
• When you are done, close your session by saying it's over and snuffing the candle.

Journal Your Responses:

• After each session, take a moment to journal your questions, the pendulum's responses, and any insights you gained. This helps track your progress and deepens your understanding.
